Our second article for the Enterprising Investor of the CFA Institute is published!

The Enterprising Investor, the flagship forum of the CFA Institute for analysis of current issues in finance and investing, did it again! Brian Singer and I were allowed to provide the cannabis industry some attention from the institutional finance community.

This article looks beyond the United States and covers the development of the cannabis industry in the rest of the world.

Our conclusion: “With the United States accounting for 95% of the world’s cannabis sales, it understandably attracts most investor attention. However, we advise those entering the world of cannabis investment to broaden their perspectives. International markets may be small, but their growth potential creates significant opportunities.”

We have put both focus time and money in Africa, specifically in Lesotho, where we see the greatest opportunity for growing and exporting a flower that with time will become increasingly commoditized.
